Kieren had to stay in Dubai at weekend after the cost of flying back to Lingfield for Saturday, and then flying back on Wednesday, was going to amount to an awful lot of money.
Luca Cumani has three runners on Thursday at Meydan and that took precedent over seven rides at Lingfield. It was still galling, from an agent point of view, to give up winners - Irons On Fire won for George Baker and I'm confident he would have won on Nbani. You are always afraid of losing rides!
Cest Le Vive. Presently, Kieren will be back for Lingfield on Saturday. Entries are out tomorrow. Green Destiny will be Kieren's ride in Dubai and he will ride all of Luca's. I don't tend to have much to do with his rides in Dubai - not something that I like ;-0.
The idea of a daily blog (well that is the intention) is to give a lowdown on his rides and any general news. It won't be a tipping service and the views will be entirely mine. Not Kieren's or any trainers'. Hopefully, I'll throw in any funny (sic) stories that abound from the day.
No doubt the blog will evolve as it goes on and any feedback will be welcome, but please, no abuse. I know plenty don't like Kieren, but the comments box is not for IhateKieren. com.
